The beachfront property holds 3 Casitas on a 332.35 sqm lot. The entire site has been planted with native plants including coconuts, mangos, almonds and a beautiful large fiddle leaf tree in the centre. As well as the three houses, there is a charcoal BBQ overlooking the ocean with a gazebo to relax in or for group meals. The property currently operates as a business with the houses renting together or separately bringing in 40-50K USD per year, 20k-30k being profit. The property can be perfect for a live-in owner while renting the other houses or renting all houses from afar as the property manager is very experienced and well trusted with all operations.
The property includes a 4000L water tank, pump and buried septic tank installed within the last 2 years as well as a professionally constructed and permitted sea wall at the front of the lot constructed in July 2023. All cabins have thatched roofs that were replaced within the 1.5 years. These have approx 8-10 year lifespans. There are hammocks and seating areas around the property and the tree casts shade over 80% of the property which is great in warmer months.
Casa Tranquila is currently operated by a well respected and very trustworthy local Emilio and his wife Xiamara who would love to continue caring for the property with the new owner.

Since purchasing the property, it has been run as an accommodation business primarily through Airbnb and for a brief time through Booking.com. Due to limited capacity to track bookings while working abroad, the decision was made to primarily use Airbnb.
Airbnb accounted for 60% of our bookings. The remaining 40% was made up of walk-ins (25%) and bookings via our Instagram and Facebook accounts (15%). It’s important to note that the property was occupied by friends or family for 2 months of the year, so it was not available for rent during that time.
Please see the Airbnb transaction history below for more detailed information. (Note: The transaction history is not provided here but should follow this section.)
